1. COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is designed to assist the learners in developing expertise and in-depth understanding in risk management. It will help them to develop advanced skills in managing the situation tactfully by understanding the principles and strategies of risk management. This course has seven modules with 20 credits to be covered in the time limit of 3 months.
2. LEARNING OUTCOMES
- At the end of the course, the learners will able toImprove the performance through higher efficiency and productivity by using risk management principles.
- Understand the risk identification, prevention, control, financing & evaluation.
- Implement the processes of developing interventions to mitigate risk factors and optimize quality outcomes.
- Critically appraise the main weaknesses of existing risk management processes and procedures.

MODULE- 2: OVERVIEW OF PRINCIPLES, STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS OF RISK MANAGEMENT

5. COURSE DISTRIBUTION IN HOURS
Total course duration - 3 months = 12 weeks
Theory - 3 hours per week for 3 days = 9 hours x 12 weeks = 108 hours
Self-Directed Learning (SDL) - 8 hours per week for 12 weeks = 96 hours
Total = 108 + 96 = 204 hours
6. TEACHING LEARNING METHODS
Interactive Lectures conducted online, problem-solving exercise and case-based learning through a VLE platform. Course materials, including lecture notes and Power Point presentation, and other programme materials will be provided electronically.
